This is another of the cards I was commissioned to make this week which happens to fit the Challenge over at Crafty Creations Challenge 61 this week is anything goes.
It also fits the challenge at Tuesday Taggers their theme this weeks is "It's a bug life" so your card must have a bug on.The Craft Barn are this weeks sponsors. If you look very carefully you will see a tiny ladybird and a butterfly.I would normally have added a gem for the butterfly but as the card is for a one year old, and we all know how they love putting things in their mouths I thought it best not to.

Well at last I've managed to find some time to make some cards. The house has been in chaos whilst we were decorating the bedroom but at last everything is back in it's place. No sooner was everything back in it's rightfulness place then the boiler decided to die, so for four days last week we were without heating and hot water. In order for the boiler to be repaired we had to dismantle the kitchen cupboard and so out came the paint brush once again to repair the kitchen which was painted in January With my FMS I feel the cold so I was not at all well last week and did not feel up to much crafting. All I managed was three cards which various people commissioned.
This card is for four challenges Papertake Weekly where they have an open theme this week. The second challenge is at Colour Create challenge 41 which is pastel.I have not done the optional extra of Easter or Spring. The third challenge is at Pile it On which is a new challenge blog for me. Here not only is there the theme Animal-riffic but you must combine your entry with at least one other current challenge from another blog. Finally the fourth challenge is as Digital Tuesday where the theme is Scrap it so use up your scraps. I've used some scraps of yellow gingham.
Digital Image is from Pollycraft designs. I've used fun flock on the duck and some glitter for the top of the cake.
Hope you all have a great Easter.Me I shall be having a nice rest before we start decorating the lounge next week.

Well it's been another busy old week still up to our ears in decorating and not much time for crafting. We are getting a bit fed up of it now all the mess and the smell of the paint. We or should I say hubby still has lots to do as it needs to be done so he can tackle the outside in the summer.
This card is for Sketch Saturday Challenge 95.Now red and purple are not really a colour combo I would use, but they are apparently the colours for the Red Hat Society of which my friend is a member. As it's her birthday this week it seemed kind of appropriate to make a card with a hat on.It's not a great picture as I took it tonight under artificial light but I don't think I will have time to take another tomorrow as I am having my haircut then it's off to lunch with the girls.

Hope you've all had a good week. I had a great day as always at my friend Gill's on Wednesday. My other friend Carol did make us laugh.
Well after a weeks rest hubby has declared it's time to start decorating again and at the moment is busily stripping wallpaper. It's not looking too good underneath though the plaster seems to have blown in places and we may need a plasterer. I can see this room dragging on for weeks.
On to my card this is for three challenges all who have the theme this week Anything Goes, so in no particular order the challenges are at Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge 74. This is a challenge I haven't done for a while and it's great to be back, especially as I have been banned from where the decorating is going on, it's a good opportunity for me to do some crafting.
The second Challenge is over at Ooh-la-la Creations challenge 49 and last but not least is Paper Cutz Challenge 32
I've used Greenhouse Garden stamps from Stampin'up for the flowers and the sentiment is from Imagine That Papercrafts What's not showing too well in the photo is the stickles that I've added to the flowers on the white paper which I have used my cuttlebug to emboss.I've also cut the four flowers around the edge and raised up with sticky pads.

Wow can you believe it I won last weeks Friday Sketchers challenge what a lucky person I am. I shall have great fun deciding what to get from Simon Says Stamp.
Hubby has finished the bedroom and we no longer have to sleep in the dining room. The house looks more or less back to normal for the time being anyway. We have now decorated four rooms and have three and the hall to go, so we have finally reached the halfway mark.Being the kind person that I am I have said he can have a rest this week and start again next week.
This card is for Friday Sketchers challenge 92. Sorry I can't remember where the stamps are from.I've distressed the edges of the dotty paper for a change.
