Wow I can't believe I managed to fit in another card this weekend. Hubby decided to started decorating our bedroom today so everything was moved out this morning. For the next few days we are sleeping in the dining room which will be really weird.
This card is for two challenges Friday Sketchers for which I've followed the sketch although i did rotate it to fit my image. The other challenges is over at Flutter By Wednesday who have an open challenge this week as long as you follow the usual rules of having a butterfly, fairy or angel on your card.
Sorry I can;t remember where the stamp came from it's been in my stash for a while and this is the first time I've used her but it certainly won't be the last.I did put some glitter on her wings for sparkle but in artificial light it didn't photograph to well.

Hope you've all had a good week. I was lucky enough to win a ticket to the big genealogy show in London "Who Do You Think You Are Live" a couple of weeks ago.So yesterday as I was feeling fairly ok pain and fatigue wise hubby took me to the station and off I went. I had a good old nosey around and a chat with one of the experts over a puzzling problem on my husbands tree, which has thrown up some possible records which may help but they are located in Scotland which may be a problem.Boy am I suffering for yesterday today though. So today I am having a very quite day whilst hubby is having a boys day with a friend so it's just me and the parrot. Not that I'm talking to the parrot as he threw another hissy fit last night as I had left him even though hubby was home. It's not the same as having his mum around. He decided he would get his own back by biting me hard and just missing the vein in my wrist what a naught boy he can be sometimes.
This card is for Papertake weekly Challenge 35. Stamp is from Stamp'in up.

Hope everyone has had a good week where ever in the world you are.
Me I've had a pretty uneventful week. We had to go to Oxford on Monday for a family funeral. We left at 6.00am thinking we would get there in plenty of time even allowing for the dreaded M25, after all it was only 63 miles. How wrong can you be the journey took us four hours we arrived with 20 minutes to spare. Luckily on the way home the journey only took two and a half hours which is still a long while given the distance, but we did have to drive through a blizzard on the way back which slowed us down. It has now taken me all the week to start to recover from the journey only now to be struck down with two migraines in two days arghhh!!. My FMS/CFS buddies will understand exactly how frustrating this all is.
The good news is I think my Mojo is starting to return and I've managed to make another card this week. I was asked by a friend to make a card for a 2 year old. The layout from Friday Sketchers was just ideal for me to use. Stamp is Arthur from Sugar Nellie, isn't he adorable?

Hello everyone well hasn't it been a long time since my last posting. I've been rather poorly since Christmas with recurring tonsillitus which left me totally wiped out and my mojo went with it. I pleased to say that at last I am feeling better and I think my mojo may just be returning if all but very slowly. I have missed visiting all your blogs the last few weeks and will get around to visiting you all again soon I promise.
This card is for two challenges Sketch Saturday 90 for which I've followed the sketch. The second challenge at A Spoon Full of Sugar this week is Spring is in the Air. Well spring is when all the flowers start to appear after the cold winter and my card has flowers on. The stamp is from Little Claire Designs and is called Emma's flower. I have paper pieced the flower and raised is on foam pads curving the petals which doesn't really show in the photo.
