When I saw the challenge at Secret Crafter which this week is Christmas trees I just knew I had to use another stamp from My Lovely as Tree set from Stampin'up which were still sitting on my desk. This card also fits the challenge at Daring Cardmakers which this week is "I'm dreaming of a White Christmas" which means Christmas cards that are mainly white with just a hint of colour.

Morning everyone what a lovely bright day if even if it's a bit cold.I am still franticly trying to finish making my Christmas cards but have had several migraines this week which has help me up. Hubby has now finished decorating the bathroom. We have now made a small start on the Kitchen. We just need to decided on the colour.
This card is for Charisma Cardz challenge 47 which this week is Anything Christmas. The challenge at Creative Card Crew this week is favourite things,I've used one of my favourite stamps from Stampin'up Lovely as a Tree set.

Hope you've all had a good week and not been working too hard. I'm making up for lost time here and combining two challenges in one. It's been a busy old week with hubby doing some decorating, so I've not had much time for blogging or making cards. I still have loads of Christmas cards to do and time is rapidly running out. However my friend Gill is not having a good time at the moment so I made this card for her to cheer her up.
I've followed the sketch at Friday Sketchers challenge 79 and the them at Incy Wincy Designs is the colour purple.
Image and sentiment are both from Stampin'up.I've also used my new Daisy cuttlebug folder.I made the flower and sprinkled with glitter not that it shows. It has just started to rain so I had to take the picture indoors and they never turn out as well.
I have to go and get ready now we are off to friends for dinner which will be really nice as we haven't seen them in a while.

Well aren't these weeks just whizzing by. Christmas will soon be upon us and I still have loads of Christmas cards to make. I thought I would get loads of crafting done will hubby was visiting relatives in Birmingham on Thursday before heading off to the Classic Car Show at the NEC on Friday. But hey ho no I didn't. I can't even remember what I did on Thursday. As for Friday, well yes I did get some crafting done when my friend Val came to visit although she was still feeling poorly. I hope you are feeling better now Val.
As soon as I saw this weeks sketch at Sketch Saturday I knew instantly what I wanted to do it was just on of those Eureka moments,it doesn't happen often. I usually spend ages deciding what I am going to do. The image is supposed to be in the circle on the right but to me all the small circles were just shouting Snowman so I hope that's ok.The paper was printed on my pc and is left over from the previous card and just happened to still be sitting on my desk. I used three different Cuttlebug folders for the embossing on the snowman just to be different. This card also fits into Creative Inspirations wednesday challenge this week which is to use your new or neglected stash. Well mine is my peel-offs and my funky foam definitely very neglected I forgot I even had them until I was rummaging in a draw.

Another quite day for me. So far today I've managed to catch up on my e-mails,write a long over due letter to my cousin Florence, given the parrot a bath and made another Christmas card so a busy old morning all in all. This card fit three challenges firstly the sketch at Sketch Saturday which was a great sketch to follow. Secondly the challenge over at Colour Create is Blue, Silver & White. The third and final challenge is over as Sassy Designs by Susie It's their first challenge this week and they have set the theme Christmas.
I wanted this card to have a soft feel to it so I coloured the image with ordinary pencils. The stamp is from Lili of the Valley. I've used white fun flock for the snow and I embossed the blue card and cut the snowflakes out using my trusty cuttlebug.Backing paper was printed on my pc.Having looked at the picture the blues have come out a bit weird the snowflake background and the blue embossed card to actually match very well despite looking totally different in the photo.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend folks.

This week has just flown by. I seem to have been here there and everywhere and my back is sure telling me I've done to much this week, plus I had a horrible migraine on Wednesday. It didn't stop me going to my friend Gill's though, where we had a great day crafting. I'm having a very quiet weekend trying to rest so all I've done today is make some lovely home-made vegetable soup for tea and this card. This card is for Friday Sketchers challenge 77 and is a great sketch to follow by Jacqueline.
I'm into recycling again so this cute little fellow came off of one of last years Christmas cards. The snowflakes were also from last year and were those that you scatter over your table to give it a festive feel. Being ever thrifty I cut them in half so as not to waste any.Sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.Tartan paper I printed on my pc.

Just time for a quick card today, I am shattered after having been shopping this morning.
This card is for Paptertake Weekly challenge 27 which was a great sketch to work with.where the stamp is from it is one I have had in my stash for a while and have just got around to using.
I hope you all have an enjoyable and safe Guy Fawkes night. Me I shall me tucked up indoors with a glass of wine and trying to calm the parrot down who hates fireworks.

Well I hope you've all had a great weekend I certainly have. I went to a friends 50th Birthday party Friday and had a great time, the belly dancer was certainly entertaining and I'm sure my friend Michael enjoyed his little surprise.Today the weather has been awful with nothing but rain so I stayed firmly tucked up indoors.Next week is looking very busy for me with various doctor & hospital appointments, which I am not looking forward to, does one ever like those sort of appointments. I am really looking forward to Wednesday though catching up with friends for the day crafting definitely my type of day.
This card is for Sketch Saturday No 75 which this week was a great sketch to follow. I've used it to make a Christmas card that's one more off my list but still loads to do.I'm afraid the picture isn't brilliant as all that glitter is making the light bounce all over the place but hopefully you get the idea.I used Stampin'up heat & stick powder and glitter all over the images and all over me judging my the amount of glitter still on my face which will keep reappearing for days to come.
