Just scooting along with a quick card before I'm off to bed, as once again it's gone midnight. I have my usual lunch date with the girls tomorrow so a girl needs her beauty sleep.
This card is for two challenges Colour Creates challenge this week is Orange, green and brown with the optional extra of a man's card. I used the sketch from this weeks challenge 9 at Sketch and Stash.
Now in case you hadn't already guessed my stash is yet another stamp from Ally Pally, getting the idea that I brought just a few. No doubt when Dave my husband looks at it he will tell me the make, model and what colours should have been where. I've coloured it with my metallic gel pens to give it that metal look.Striped paper is from Dovercraft Abstract Prints by Kelly Harwood. Scooter was from Dimensions Fourth and the sentiment is from Imagine That.

Ok so my idea of doing some gardening didn't work.I tried pruning a small bush in the garden yesterday and ended up in so much pain I couldn't sleep last night.
So I have sat down and made another card. This is for Friday Sketchers.
Again I've used one of my new stamps which I brought at Ally Pally. I love Sugar Nellie stamps and brought a few which will keep me going for a while.
I hope you are all having a good weekend and enjoying the glorious weather we are having at the moment.

I bet you all thought I had been abducted by aliens with no postings or little messages left on your blogs for a whole week. Well sorry to disappoint you I haven't been abducted by aliens. I have just been tired after Ally Pally on Sunday.I could hardly move on Monday. Val and I had a fantastic time and I brought lots of goodies to add to my stash. I've also been busy making several commissioned cards for a wedding and a couple of little girls birthdays which I can't show just yet just in case. Term also restarted for calligraphy this week so my mind has been buzzing with ideas for that. I also had another tutorial for my Certificate in Community Volunteering which I am doing so have so work to do for that over the next couple of weeks as well.Yikes! where am I going to get the time.Hubby abducted me and took me out to lunch yesterday which was very nice.He said he hadn't seen a lot of me the last few days. Hasn't the weather been glorious this week. Hot and sunny all week I can't believe it for April hotter than Paris and Rome.
Thanks Gill for your help yesterday, who said they never won anything.?
Well to the card this is for Sketch and Stash Challenge 8.A bit of an unusual colour combination for me but then I was rummaging around in a box under my desk and found the yellow and orange card. My new stash is of course the lovely little Ellie from Stamposaurus. I also brought another one they are so cute, so watch this space.
Gingham paper is from a fab digital download at Funky Fairys papercrafts

Boy don't these weeks go quick I can't believe it's Friday and I haven't made any cards since Monday.I had a great time on Wednesday with my friends Patricia & Val. Now no fighting girls I have swapped your names around on this post so you can't argue whose name went first.
Well I was asked today to make a sympathy card. Of course know one likes to make these but sometimes they just have to be done. So this is my little creation.
Image is from Stampin'Up and embossed on to both black and white card.Sentiment comes from Funky Fairys Just Hanging Around download.
Having made the card and blog hopping over at my buddy Nicola's I found a new challenge blog, well new to me Creative Card Crew
Challenge 6 which this week is Monochrome Madness,Black, White & Grey/Silver so this card fits neatly into that.
Is also fits the Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 47 which is to use Die-cuts or punches. I used my circle and scalloped punches.
I hope you all have a good weekend. I know I will as I'm going to Alexandra Palace for the Big Stamp and Scrapbooking Show on Sunday

I hope you've all had a good Easter and have not eaten too many Easter eggs.I have had a very quite Easter nice and relaxing after last weekends activities. I have lunch with my Tuesday girls to look forward to. Wednesday I am meeting my friends Val & Patricia for a coffee and girly chat as we have no calligraphy lesson. I am also looking forward to next weekend for two reasons. The first is it's the Big Stamp and Scrapbooking show at Ally Pally as you all no doubt know, secondly we are also having a friend from Germany visit who we last saw just before Christmas. So a fun filled week ahead for me if I can keep going, my Fibromyalgia is particular bad at the moment.
Once again I find myself combing three challenges into one. I'm not being lazy it's just the way it turned out. I made it using the Sketch Saturday challenge no 46 then realised the colour combination of Chocolate, cream and coffee fitted into the Colour Create challenge 11.It also fits into the Funky Fairys Challenge which this week is dare to be square.
Image and papers are all from Funky Fairy papercrafts I've distressed around the edges of the papers with Tim Holtz Tea Dye.

Firstly an apology to all my followers and blogging buddies. Sorry if I have not visited your blog for a while but my mother-in-law who is nearly 90 and who also has dementia is seriously ill and facing a major operation in the next few weeks. Never fear I will visit as soon as I can.
This is the first chance I've had to make a card this week since hubby's aunt and cousin left on Sunday evening. It is for two challenges. Firstly Papertake Weekly Dawny's Sketch 12 another great sketch from Dawn. The second challenge is for Colour Create and the chosen colours this week are Duck Egg Blue and Rose. I can't remember where I got the rose stamp from but I have stamped, then water coloured and then used Stampin'up heat & stick powder then glitter for a bit of sparkle. The sentiment is from Imagine That

Well I didn't think I would have time this weekend to do any crafting as we have visitors. However they have gone to visit my mother-in-law in the residential home so I found myself with a couple of hours free.So what else could I do but some crafting.Well I suppose I could have created my CV for the Certificate in Community Volunteering Course which I started this week but then I have three weeks to complete that so plenty of time.
This is for Friday Sketchers no 46. It's a layout I've used before because it is so versatile. So when I saw it I thought it was exactly the right time to use my new Forever Friends stamp.Heart backing paper is from Funky Hand Minty Madness. The chequered paper is some from my stash which I won a few weeks ago.For the spray from the bottle I've just used little bits of left over peel off stickers. The gorgeous ribbon is off of a lovely box of chocolates which of course didn't last long.

This card is for Friday Sketchers sketch no 45. I've actually had it sitting on my desk for a dew days all cut out but haven't found the time or energy to put it together until now. I thought if I don't do it now it will be too late, but then I have had other more important matters on my mind this week. We are also having Dave's cousin and aunt arriving tomorrow for the weekend which will be nice but means I've been busy clearing up and clearing the spare bedroom. So another busy weekend for me so I shall be worn out again next week.
Stamps are from Daisy and Dandelion which I have literally just stamped as I wanted to keep to only black, white & red.Papers I just happen to have laying around. I know the black and white blotchy paper came from my Calligraphy teacher Jackie but where she got it from I haven't a clue but it was just perfect for this image.
Have a good weekend everyone.
